How to View and Use the PARTY Formation Screen

PARTY formation screen

This section explains how to view and use the PARTY formation screen, using the ARENA screen as an example. For special notes on the PARTY formation screen for each content, please refer to the screen description section for each content.

Explanation

PARTY selection. You can select and change the PARTY to be organized from the pull-down menu.

The button opens the PARTY copy screen.

The button saves the composition to the current PARTY.

Switch the information displayed in the parameter display columns. Two types of information can be toggled between BEAST and MOD.

Switches between the simple and detailed display modes in the parameter display columns. When in simplified view, you can see the whole body of the BEAST. In detailed view, you can see the numerical values of the battle parameters.

Display BEAST order of action and formation. The numbers represent the order of action in the party, with 1 being the fastest and 4 the slowest. The position of the numbers indicates the order of the formation. If more than one UNIT with the same AGI value is organized, the action and formation order of the corresponding UNITs will be displayed as "?".

The PROXY BEAST that is organized in the UNIT is displayed.

Pressing switches the display order on this screen. The actual order of formation is not affected. (This is only a function to swap the display order so that it is easier for you to see when organizing)

Press to change the LEADER setting. The button turns red for UNITs currently set as LEADER.

The parameter display column of the UNIT being organized. By pressing within this column, you can open the UNIT organization screen for the corresponding UNIT slot.

This button will unlock the BEAST and MOD for all UNITs in the PARTY.

This button opens the recommendation formation screen. You can choose your formation method from a total of four recommended options, each based on the priority of different TYPE GROUPs. When executed, the system will automatically populate any empty slots. (It will not overwrite a slot that already has a BEAST or MOD organized)

Various information about the PARTY will be displayed. - PARTY POWER (total UNIT POWER) - TYPE GROUP breakdown of skills Some content may display special information in this column.

Basically a button to start the BATTLE. Display content varies depending on mode contents. For details, please refer to the screen description section of each content.

What is a PARTY?

What is a PARTY?

A PARTY is a BEAST formation used in battle and consists of four UNITs.

The unit consists of a combination of BEASTs and MODs.

In order to go into battle, you must have BEASTs in all four UNITs and six different MODs.

Where you can organize your PARTY?

You can basically organize the BEAST that will go into battle and the MODs that you will wear on the PARTY formation screen that appears just before the start of each battle content.

Saving parties

Up to 10 parties can be saved for each of the following contents.

  • ARENA

  • MATCHUP mode: NORMAL

  • MATCHUP mode: RENTAL (except BEAST for RENTAL UNITs)

  • DUNGEON

When your PARTY will be saved is shown below:

  • When you press the Save PARTY button

  • At the start of a battle

DEFENDING PARTY

The DEFENDING PARTY is the PARTY that will be used when another player challenges you to a battle.

The last PARTY to win that content will be saved and updated as a DEFENDING PARTY.

Impact of DEFENDING PARTY on deletion and sale

DEFENDING PARTIEs, unlike regular PARTIEs, are not affected by BEAST DELETION, BEAST POD insertion, or SELL MOD, respectively.

BEAST and mods in the DEFENDING PARTY can be sold, deleted, etc. Conversely, even if they are sold or deleted, they will remain as data in the DEFENDING PARTY as long as they are not updated.

Explanation

Displays BEAST action and formation order. The number represent the order of action in the PARTY, with 1 being the fastest and 4 the slowest. The position of the number indicates the order of the formation. If more than one UNIT with the same AGI value is organized, the action and formation order of the corresponding UNIT will be displayed as "?".

UNIT POWER. UNIT POWER is a measure of strength, calculated from battle parameters based on the combination of BEAST and MOD organized in a UNIT.

Information on BEAST organized in UNITs is displayed. Top row, from left to right -BEAST RANK -TYPE GROUP -PERSONALITY -BEAST ID -BEAST LV -BASE VALUE BEAST Power (calculated from BEAST's battle parameters only)

Displays the UNIT's battle parameters. Numerical values are displayed in the following sequence, with a maximum of three types. The amount of change from the current value will change when you change the BEAST or MOD selected from the list on the right side of the screen, and will be displayed in red if it increases and in gray if it decreases. For the meaning of each parameter's icon, see

BEAST SKILL information will be displayed. From left to right, the order is as follows. -BODY -BACK -TAIL -HEAD -Shu-Ha-Ri / 守破離 1 -Shu-Ha-Ri / 守破離 2 Each SKILL includes the following information: -TYPE icon -Part series number -TYPE GROUP icon -Included BUFF/DEBUFF effect icon Selecting a SKILL toggles the display of the detailed skill description.

Thumbnails of PROXY BEAST organized in the UNIT are displayed.

The MODs that are organized in the UNIT are displayed.

Pressing the button opens a collective MOD organization screen. A MOD can be automatically organized by specifying the main and sub effects and extraction conditions.

Pressing the button opens the UNIT copy screen. It is possible to copy from other parties on a unit-by-unit basis.

Pressing the button will release the BEASTs and MODs that are organized in the UNIT.

You can switch the UNIT to be displayed by pressing an item of a UNIT not currently displayed.

You can switch between BEAST and MOD listings.

Press the button to open the filter.

The pull-down option allows you to change the type of sort order.

By pressing the button, you can switch between ascending and descending order.

BEAST/MOD will be presented as a list. You can organize/switch them to a UNIT by pressing each item.

Press this button to apply this UNIT's organization to the PARTY.
