# Pan & Zoom tool

The Pan & Zoom tool is a useful feature that can be utilised within the iGUIDE 3D Tour itself. It allows you to zoom in, and pan on the floor plan, which can be useful for the measurement Mode 1:[Advanced Measurements](/url/planitar.gitbook.io/iguide-support/training-center/iguide-viewer/how-to/measurement-tool.md#mode-1-measurements-on-floor-plan)

1. Select the **Pan & Zoom** icon in the top left corner of the floorplan **(1)**
2. You will be presented with the 4-arrow pointer (panning tool icon) **(2)**
3. Wherever you place your cursor, you can use the mouse wheel to zoom in or out of the floor plan. You can also middle-click (click the scroll wheel) and drag to pan the floorplan at your selected zoom level to move the floorplan around.
4. Press the Reset Pan & Zoom button **(3)** to reset the pan & zoom to the default level.
